Garlicky Swiss Chard

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, smashed

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 large bunch Swiss chard, ribs removed and chopped fine, leaves roughly chopped

Kosher salt

Splash red or white wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Cook the oil and garlic in Dutch oven oven over medium-low heat, stirring occassionally, until garlic is light golden and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped Swiss chard ribs and saute until soft, about 4 minutes.
  3. Add the Swiss chard leaves and season with salt, to taste and pepper flakes.
  4. Cook until the leaves are wilted. Stir in a splash of wine vinegar. Serve immediately.
